On Saturday, March 2, 2019 at the University of Pikeville the Betsy Layne High School Science Olympiad team competed in the annual Science Olympiad regional competition. Coach Brandon Pascarella comments “I am proud of the accomplishment my team has made this season, we are excited to attend our twelfth straight state tournament in April at the University of Kentucky.” He adds “I would also like to thank Mrs. Brittany Hamilton and Mr. Bradley Prater for all their help this season and all the support we have received from our administration team Mr. Jody Roberts, Mr. Jonathan Parsons and Mrs. Terri Hall.”
